First-year students enrolling in Fall 2013 will be the first to experience The Engaged Citizen, a new interdisciplinary course designed for all incoming students. The course is taught by pairs of professors from different disciplines so that students can explore a topic such as "Politics and Public Institutions" or "Origins and Ethics" from different perspectives and question what it means to be involved in our communities, whether locally or globally.
