The Office of Information Technology is able to offer limited technical support to students as follows:
We will attempt to remove virus, malware and trojans
- We will reinstall operating systems if necessary to get the system funtional (student must provide the software)
- We will install anti-virus software
- We wil assist in connecting computers to our wireless/ wired network
- We will attempt to recover "crashed" disks
We will troubleshoot a computer to see if it is a problem we can assit with, but we do not provide any type of hardware repair or support and will refer the student to their equipment manufacturer or a local computer shop for this type of repair.
All students requesting service are required to fill out our Waiver of Responsibility for Work on Student Owned Computers form and all work and costs are performed according to this document.
