The internet doesn't work

Is this the first time you are trying to connect to the network? If so, go here to set up your computer. If not, read on...

  1. Go here to check the server status.
  2. If the status page reports that the server is down, please be patient. We are working on the problem.
  3. If the server is up, check to make sure that the status LED on your network card is lit (it should be near the network cable's entry point). If it is not, your cable may be faulty or your connection may have been disabled.
  4. Restart your computer
  5. Check to ensure that all of your internet settings are set up as outlined here.
  6. If all else fails, contact IT.
