Leadership Giving Challenges
Recognizing the worth of Annual Fund and Parent Fund support and their impacts upon Hendrix students, Dr. Gordon Worsham and Admiral Tim Lomax and Dr. Jeannine Hoffman Lomax have issued two challenges to Hendrix alumni, parents, and friends.
With a generous $30,000 Challenge Gift from Dr. Worsham, the Worsham Leadership Giving Challenge highlights
the importance and impact of leadership gifts ($1,000 or more) to the Hendrix Annual
Fund, offering a potential of $60,000 in new gifts this year.
Thank you, Parents! You met the generous $10,000 Lomax-Hoffman Challenge for the Hendrix Parent Fund! Through the Challenge, Tim and Jeannine Lomax wish to recognize the tremendous support from their own parents and inspire new donors to Hendrix’s Leadership Giving Societies. Together, you helped us raise $20,000 in new gifts for the Hendrix Parent Fund.
- The Worsham Challenge will provide an additional $1,000 for every new Leadership gift of $1,000 or more before May 31.
- The College will receive an additional $1,000 when a current donor increases their gift to the Leadership level of $1,000 or more in 2013-14.
Alumni and Parent Participation Challenge encourages higher participation gifts to the
Hendrix Annual Fund and the Hendrix Parent Fund. Both groups, and their giving participation,
are vital to the College’s philanthropic goals each year. This Challenge is an exciting
opportunity for alumni and parents to increase their past support
or for prospective donors to begin their philanthropic journeys with
challenge, Dr. Brad Baltz ’84 and Mrs. Amy Baltz, current Hendrix parents, will
provide a $200 gift for each donation that meets one of the following
conditions, up to $20,000 (or 100 gifts):
- An alumni or parent donor makes a new gift of $200 on or before May 31, 2014.
