*When LITR students are enrolled in this class, it is taught in English.

Papers and presentations for the 200 level students will be shorter and less involved. In terms of assessment, 200-level students will be expected to delve less deeply into the material and demonstrate a less sophisticated level of understanding and synthesis than 300-level students. The learning goals will address these distinctions: expectations and outcomes for 200 level students will include less advanced learning through shorter, less sophisticated readings and presentations. Students will be allowed to take the class only once (it may not be taken a second time as LITR 232 or 332 or as FREN 332). Prerequisites: Completion of FREN 210 or permission of the instructor
