• We believe in making Hendrix College affordable and accessible.

As a top-tier, nationally ranked liberal arts college, we believe our unique opportunities for experiential learning, rigorous inquiry, and cultivating creativity should be available to all qualified students.

  • It's to Your Advantage

Admitted first-year students with a 3.0+ GPA for the 2025-26 academic year will pay no more in tuition and fees at Hendrix than the published tuition rate at their home state's public flagship university.

    Tuition Advantage 2024
  • HOW TUITION ADVANTAGE WORKS

The Tuition Advantage Award will be offered to first-year students admitted to enroll at Hendrix in Fall 2025.  Admitted students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 and above will automatically qualify for this award; those admitted with a GPA lower than 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis through holistic review.

Once you are admitted to Hendrix for the 2025-26 academic year, we award merit scholarships and institutional grants based on your application AND THEN calculate the difference in tuition and fees between Hendrix and your home state's public, flagship institution's published tuition and fees.

If Hendrix tuition and fees are still higher than your home state flagship's tuition and fees, your Tuition Advantage Scholarship will make up the difference. Outside scholarships, and state and federal aid, can lower your cost more! Add housing & food costs to this Tuition Advantage flagship rate and students get the experience of a private school education for the cost of a public school tuition price.

Head here to start your application or connect with your admission counselor to discuss things.

Transfer applicants are not eligible for Tuition Advantage.

First-year students applying for entry in Fall 2026 should check back in the summer of 2025 to access updated information about the Tuition Advantage program.
