Democracy & Civil Discourse: Post Election - Moving Forward Together
The final session of the library's "Democracy & Civil Discourse" series is Tues, Nov 12 at 11:10 am on the first floor of the library. The topic will be "Post Election: Moving Forward Together." Join us for small informal group discussions using pre-formulated questions for an hour-long conversation that seeks to include all voices and perspectives and promote civil discourse.
Democracy & Civil Discourse Series
The library is sponsoring a biweekly series “Democracy & Civil Discourse,” centered around issues of American democracy and the election, beginning on Tues, Sept 17 at 11:10 am and continuing every two weeks through Nov 12. Guided by the Living Room Conversations series, we will have small groups discuss issues of democracy using pre-formulated questions and guidelines designed to promote civil discourse.

Celebrate the rich heritage of Native America by exploring resources displayed on the Reference Desk through November.

New Resources
The library recently acquired online access to Science, which you can browse or search. Also new are additions to the legal/government database HeinOnline, including Indigenous Peoples of the Americas (History, Culture & Law), Business & Legal Aspects of Sports & Entertainment (BLASE), Animal Studies (Law, Welfare & Rights), and the National Survey of State Laws.
