- Sunporch Visits – Held at a table in the entrance to our Student Life and Technology Center or Dining Hall to ensure high turnout and traffic, Sunporch visits provide recruiters with a casual opportunity to see and provide information to a large
amount of students. These visits may be scheduled on a weekday in any time interval between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.; however, peak hours are typically from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as students are coming and going for lunch. to arrange the schedule for your visit. We take care of all the details; you just show up ready with questions! We offer the same service for phone and video interviews, as well.
- Career and Internship Fair - Our annual Career and Internship Fair is held each spring in early March and gives recruiters the opportunity to discuss internship and employment opportunities at their companies or organizations with a diverse student body representing a wide range of academic disciplines.
The registration fee includes a table at the event, complimentary parking, and light refreshments.
Our 202 fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 6th . Click here for more information.
- Graduate and Professional School Recruiting – Because of the diversity of our student body and their post-graduate plans, we have found it difficult
to host a single event that fully benefits students and the attending graduate schools. We try for a more targeted effort with individual schools and hope that you can find time to visit our campus in the fall or early spring to do
this. With proper notice, we can set you up in a high-visibility spot in our Student Life and Technology Center and promote your visit to various campus constituencies and departments to generate interest among specific students who would be the best targets
for your recruitment efforts. Contact us at (501) 450-1440 or
careerservices@hendrix.edu with date(s) when you might be in our area, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. You may also use our Recruiter Visit Request form to submit this information. A large percentage of each year's graduating class at Hendrix has plans
to attend graduate school immediately or within the following year, so we are a great place to recruit students interested in continuing their educations. We believe our approach is more beneficial to you as a recruiter, as well as to our students.
