• An Evening with Murphy Writer-in-Residence Trenton Lee Stewart '92

    Have an opportunity to connect with the Hendrix community and hear from Arkansas native  Trenton Lee Stewart '92 , author of the award-winning,  New York Times  best-selling Mysterious Benedict Society series for children on February 12th.

  • Event Overview

    • Arrive on campus at 6 p.m. and connect with members of the Admission staff at the Dawkins Welcome Center 
    • Enjoy dinner (our treat!) in the Hendrix Cafeteria with current students
    • Walk over as a group around 7:15 p.m. to Reves Recital Hall to hear Trenton Lee Stewart's talk   

  • Trenton Lee Stewart '92

    Arkansas native Trenton Lee Stewart '92 , author of the award-winning,  New York Times  best-selling Mysterious Benedict Society series for children, has published fiction in several literary journals. His novel for adults,  Flood Summer , is praised as "a Greek tragedy by way of Arkansas." As the Murphy Visiting Writer-in-Residence at Hendrix this spring, he will teach a creative writing course, "Writing and Publishing Fiction."
