Scholarships can work for you to help lower the cost of your Hendrix education.

Hendrix Achievement-Based Scholarship
Hendrix College Scholarship
Eligibility: Based on GPA, standardized test scores (unless test optional), leadership
and extracurricular activities, recommendations
Amount: $15,000 and up
Application: All accepted students receive an award based on a holistic review of their application materials.
Hendrix Co-Curricular Scholarships
Esports Scholarship
Eligibility: Based on promise of contribution to the Esports team.
Amount: $1,000 per year
Notes: Apply by March 1; On-Campus Housing Required

Eligibility: Leadership in United Methodist youth ministries

Performing and Fine Arts Scholarship
Eligibility: Based on talent in music, theatre, dance, and art; open to
non-majors
Amount: $1,000 - 2,000 per year

Arkansas Scholarships
Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholarship
Eligibility: Visit the Arkansas Department of Higher Education's Website.
Amount: The scholarship amount is determined each February for
new students enrolling during the following fall.

Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship
Eligibility: Academic achievement and test scores
Amount: $1,000 freshman year $4,000 sophomore year $4,000 junior
year $5,000 senior year

Other Non-Hendrix Scholarships
Hendrix College is a Collegiate Partner of
Scholarship America
and the Dollars for Scholars (United Methodist Higher Education Foundation) family of community scholarship foundations. Hendrix
has agreed that Dollars for Scholars awards of up to $1,000 per student will not
adversely affect scholarship funding provided by Hendrix.
Hendrix-Murphy Foundation Scholarship
All eligible El Dorado High School (Arkansas) graduates who receive the El Dorado Promise will receive the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation Scholarship (HMFS) to cover tuition at Hendrix.
Eligibility: Be admitted to Hendrix College. Qualify for the El Dorado Promise.
What is Covered: Attend Hendrix tuition-free for four years and receive a $3,000/year housing award for four years.
