Housing
at Hendrix is now separate from Residence Life. Residence Life continues to
supervise the Resident Assistants and Hall Councils, oversees programming in
the residence facilities, and works toward the goals of providing advice and
counsel to students as they adjust to residence hall life, develop socially,
and become self-governing.
The
mission of Housing is to positively impact the campus living experience by
serving and supporting students while providing safe, clean, comfortable living
environments.
The
Housing Office manages room assignments, acts as a liaison between students and
Facilities Management for physical issues, and conducts the myriad of administrative tasks
involved in operating our residence facilities.
Lots
of information can be found in the menu to the right. If you have questions
or issues you would like to discuss in person, we are happy to meet with you;
you are welcome to pop into SLTC 208 anytime. You may also email us for an
appointment. Please name some available times to meet and we will let you know what works
best with our schedules.
We
highly suggest that you read the Student Handbook. Ignorance of rules and policies does not provide an excuse for violating them. Familiarizing yourself with the Handbook can keep you out of trouble, inform you of your
options, and help you know where to find answers.
