“The sophomore retreat was a tipping point in my understanding of and in the creation of myself and my vocational goals. Before attending, I felt lost and confused without any sense of direction, which was due the realization that what I had thought I wanted to pursue did not give me any satisfaction....This retreat was the first event in a series of events that have changed my life. I would highly recommending attending.” –Kelsi Stimack

"Before I participated in the sophomore retreat, the uncertainty I felt regarding what I wanted to do as a career or with my major made me uneasy. However, after completing the retreat, I realized that there is no reason to be worried about the future at such a young age. It introduced me to some of the resources available at Hendrix that could help me narrow down a potential vocation or career."—Emma Carlson

"The Sophomore Retreat gave me a much needed break from the stress I have created for myself in the pursuit of scientific achievement....I recommend the Sophomore Retreat to anyone with an open mind and willingness to try new things." –Giorgy Sarishvili
