Where Every Hendrix Odyssey Begins
The Student Life and Technology Center (SLTC) has become the place where students gather to share ideas, practice leadership, master technology, and foster friendships.
As the "living room" of the College, the SLTC embodies community and community values. The distributed technology highlights collaborative, state-of-the-art learning. As our first potentially LEED certified campus building, the SLTC represents Hendrix’s commitment to sustainability. The existence of many campus offices in one location demonstrates the College’s commitment to student success and seamless service. In essence, this building symbolizes the College’s motto “unto the whole person” as a place to study, grow, dine, and socialize.
The $26 million facility is the largest capital project in the history of Hendrix. It is the final capital component in a $100 million comprehensive campaign A Commitment to National Leadership: The Hendrix Campaign. During this journey, Hendrix has raised more than $93 million and transformed the lives of students. The College has significantly increased student financial assistance; designed innovative academic, co-curricular, and student life programs; and developed critical campus facilities to support those programs.
