There are several ways for faculty and staff to be involved with Summer Programs. Information about how to get involved is included below, but anyone is welcome to contact the Summer Programs Office to discuss ideas or other ways to get involved.
Propose a new program!
You can apply to the Summer Programs Office for approval and support in developing your program. Programs must meet the following criteria to qualify:
- Occur during the summer, May (the Monday following Commencement) through July
- Offered for enrichment, non-credit purposes only
- Support the mission of the College
- Must be self-supportive (operated by revenue generated by the program or other funding)
To seek approval and support, simply begin by filling out and submitting a request form (linked below):

If you are interested in learning about opportunities to direct, teach, work, present, volunteer, etc. in summer programs, let us help you get connected with them. Opportunities that are open and being advertised will be shown below. Feel free to email us at summerprograms@hendrix.edu and tell us your interests. We'll do our best to get you connected with the right programs.
